Social Media Taboos Constantly Evolving

Hello there! I am currently at the Chester County Hospital recovering
from surgery to have my gall bladder removed. I struggled with the
descision whether or not to post some, all or none of the information
up to the surgery. I mainly chose none, because of the fear that some
of you following me may think I am pandering for attention or that
posting any such info is a social media taboo.

It is an interesting topic, but not one that I had really given much
thought of prior to needing this surgery. So the question at hand is:
how much info is TMI? It certainly a question I plan on exploring
more. Whether it is twittering the death of a child (which has been in
the news lately), or just minor health issues, it will be interesting
to see where this line will be drawn, if it can be drawn at all.
